A felt patch of Duke standing before his board, marked 1890 for the year he was born. Red and gold on a black curved-brim cap, with his signature in gold across the back.
1890 is the year he was born, not a founding date. Duke was born in Honolulu on 24 August 1890, when Hawaiʻi was still a kingdom, and was raised in Kalia, Waikīkī.

Fit
Every hat is one size with an adjustable closure at the back, which suits most adults. Snapbacks adjust in steps, strapbacks slide to any point.
Made in small runs and built for salt, sun and wind. If you want to know something specific about a piece before you order, ask us through the contact page and we will find out and tell you straight.
Care Guide
These caps are machine washable, and they can go in the dishwasher too.
In the washing machine, take the cap out before the spin cycle starts. In the dishwasher, take it out before the drying cycle starts. Either way, let it air dry afterwards rather than tumble drying it.
A hat wash rack holds the crown and the brim in shape through the wash and while it dries. Worth having if you wear a cap often.
