Shipping & Orders

How much is shipping?

Shipping is added at checkout. You will see the exact cost for your order and your address before you pay, and nothing is added afterwards. Orders are packed by hand and usually leave us within one to two business days.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to a number of countries. Available destinations and services are shown at checkout. Delivery times vary considerably by country. Any customs duties or import taxes are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient.

How do I track my order?

Orders are packed and posted by hand from Hawaiʻi. Once yours is on its way you will get an email with tracking details. If you have not heard from us within three business days of ordering, get in touch through the contact page.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

All sales are final. We do not offer returns, exchanges, or refunds, including for change of mind, sizing, or color.

If there is a problem with your order, get in touch through the contact page or come and see us at the gallery. Tell us your order number and what has gone wrong, and send a photograph if you have one. We look at every case individually and will do what we reasonably can, though we cannot promise a particular outcome.

Can I exchange for a different size?

No. All sales are final and we do not offer exchanges. Our hats are one size with an adjustable closure. If you are unsure whether something will suit you, ask us through the contact page before you order and we will help.

Are discounted items returnable?

No. All sales are final, whether an item was bought at full price or with a discount.

How do your products fit?

Our hats are one size with an adjustable closure, which suits most adults. Because all sales are final, please ask us through the contact page if you are unsure about fit before you order.

What materials do you use?

Each piece is made in a small run and built for salt, sun and wind. We would rather tell you nothing than tell you something we have not confirmed, so if you need the exact composition of a piece before you order, ask us through the contact page and we will find out.

How should I care for my items?

Our caps are machine washable, and they can go in the dishwasher too. In the washing machine, take the cap out before the spin cycle starts. In the dishwasher, take it out before the drying cycle starts. Let it air dry afterwards rather than tumble drying it. A hat wash rack will help it keep its shape.
